John Benporath established the Montrose Securities group in 2005, after a long career in merchant banking and mortgage fund management.
John has over 28 years’ experience as an international financier in a wide range of financial services, including foreign currency, money markets, fixed interest investments, commercial mortgages and mezzanine finance through a number of economic cycles. In Australia, John held a senior position at Ashe Morgan and was General Manager of Mortgages at Armstrong Jones, H G & R Finance Ltd., as well as at Over 50s Friendly Society Ltd. He retains strong ties with financial services companies in Australia.
John now heads Montrose’s proprietary investment operations including its mezzanine finance activities. John is happy to help those seeking investments or wanting to invest overseas. The company currently does business in Australia, the U.S., the UK and Israel.
